The idea of Metrocargo is based on an innovative technique of horizontal handling, through the terminal equipped with storage areas automated and built along the railroad tracks, which allows speed, economy, safety of operation and low environmental impact.
The technique speeds up and optimizes the loading/unloading of trains by increasing the potential for a rail terminal and reduces operating costs and minimizing the disability time of breaking bulk.
The loading and unloading of a freight train usually takes less than 40 minutes.
Entering into the substance of the construction, technology Metrocargo utilizes specialized shuttles, lifting tower and platform.
